Offers include a three-course dinner and champagne at Brassiere in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, a gourmet meal at Two Times Square, or Thai delicacies at Bangkok House.

Opening Night Reception with complimentary Chilean wine, live music and free illustrated signed copies of the artist’s “Love Poem #9” on Thusday, February 12th from 9 to 11PM. Janet Restino’s sensual artwork on canvas and paper and recent photographs will be on view. Her work is collected by prominent members of the theater community, musicians and fellow artists who are connoisseurs of her freely drawn figurative work.
The artist will donate 20% of proceeds of her sales to The Gabriela Mistral Foundation which is a 501c(3) tax-exempt organization providing monetary grants to help children and seniors in need in Chile.

Ripley's Believe It or Not Times Square

Throughout the month of February, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Times Square will showcase art that fits the theme “A Face That Only a Mother Can Love”. As other stores in the area feature chocolate, roses, and conventional romance, Ripley’s will recognize those who, you might say, “would otherwise be forgotten” on this Hallmark holiday. In addition, Ripley’s will offer several new shrunken head items for your special Valentine’s Day gift.
Artists on exhibit include:
Jenny Dayton, whose colorful cartoon-like images portray interesting characters you probably would not want to date on the 14th.
Chuck Hodi, whose paintings reflect the odd and unusual people and themes from Ripley’s world.
J. Jimmy 65, whose abstract painting features faces of your own interpretation, which may be as ugly or as beautiful as you imagine them to be.
All of the work will be sold on consignment in the Ripley’s gift shop from the hours of 9am-11pm Monday-Thursday and 9am-1am Friday-Sunday. 10% of proceeds will go to support FreeArtsNYC, an organization that offers creative arts programming for abused, neglected, and underserved children.
