In 2005, the Alliance laid out a vision for addressing the many pedestrian and streetscape issues facing Times Square in a plan titled, Problems & Possibilities: Re-Imagining the Pedestrian Environment in Times SquareThanks to additional funding from Mayor Bloomberg, the City Council and Congressman Nadler, the Alliance was able to move forward with the renovation of Duffy Square.  To read more about what happened in 2005, follow any of the links below:

 

2004 marked the 100th Birthday for Times Square.  From our Design Times Square competition to our retail initiative to our yoga Summer Solstice event in the middle of Times Square, the Alliance has managed to capture and celebrate the diversity and creativity of the district.
