V-J Day Celebration

Dancing at the Crossroads Time Square Alliance in association with Dancers Responding to AIDS presents a free performance featuring some of the best dance that NYC has to offer - in the heart of Times Square! WHEN: Sunday, June 24th - 4:30pm to Dusk

WHERE: Military Island, at the intersection of Broadway and 7th Avenue between 43rd and 44th Streets.

ADMISSION: Free.

Presented by Dancers Responding to AIDS in association with the Times Square Alliance, Dancing at the Crossroads is hosted by Laurie Ann Gibson from MTV's Making the Band and Broadway's Chicago and Kate Shindel, star of Broadway's Legally Blonde and former Miss America. The thirty local, international and student companies scheduled to perform will present a program of dance as diverse as New York City itself. With styles ranging from classic and contemporary ballet to hip hop, jazz, modern and tap, set to music ranging from Stravinsky to Stevie Wonder, Dancing at the Crossroads in guaranteed to offer something for every lover of music and dance.
