David Doubilet, internationally acclaimed National Geographic photographer, will present his stunning photos on the big screen and tell his incredible first-person stories of encounters with underwater wildlife. He will be introduced by NRDC President Frances Beinecke. Doubilet estimates he has spent nearly half his life in the sea since he took his first underwater photograph at the age of 12. Considered the world's leading underwater photographer, Doubilet has introduced an entire generation to the mystery and wonders of the deep. He has photographed more than 70 stories for National Geographic, reporting on coral reefs, ocean predators, and exotic marine creatures. Endowed with a keen sense of humor and a talent for speaking poetically about his subjects, Doubilet is an audience favorite.
