FEED #2: LIVE NEW YEAR’S EVE COVERAGE OF TIMES SQUARE 2013
Live coverage of the Times Square 2013 celebration with exclusive panoramic views of Times Square and the Waterford Crystal New Year’s Eve Ball from proprietary camera locations and the ambient and natural sounds of the revelers, including hourly countdowns to midnight, the lighting and raising of the New Year’s Eve Ball, interactive activities with the revelers, live musical performances and a special guest at midnight. For the first time this year, Allison Hagendorf, who recently wrapped hosting the debut season of The CW’s music competition show “The Next: Fame is at Your Doorstep,” will serve as the official host covering the events. This clean, uninterrupted feed will be provided free of charge to media organizations around the world on a non-exclusive basis solely for their use in creating television programming relating to the event. LIVE EMBEDDABLE COMMERCIAL-FREE NEW YEAR’S EVE WEBCAST OF TIMES SQUARE 2013
Official Host Allison Hagendorf and three correspondents will provide live commercial-free webcast coverage of the action in Times Square including the Ball Raising, music and other performances, backstage access, behind-the-scenes stories, reveler interviews, live chat and hourly countdowns leading to the spectacular Ball Drop and midnight celebration.
The Webcast will begin at 5:50 p.m. EST on December 31, 2012 and end at 12:15 a.m. EST on January 1, 2013. The show will be available at TimesSquareNYC.org, TimesSquareBall.net and new.livestream.com/newyearseve/NYE2013. Additionally, the event organizers and Livestream are inviting digital media outlets, bloggers and webmasters to embed the Livestream video and full feed experience, which includes photos, text updates, real-time DVR and video highlights, to enhance the New Year’s Eve content on their own sites.
