For the second consecutive year, a selection of art from The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s exhibition, P.S. Art 2016: Celebrating the Creative Spirit of NYC Kids, will be displayed on digital screens in Times Square through a collaboration with the Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC).
Selections from the annual juried exhibition of works of art in a variety of media created by public school students in New York City’s five boroughs will be displayed on screens owned and operated by ABC, Bank of America, and Clear Channel Spectacolor. A press conference will mark the kickoff of this collaborative project at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, on Military Island (located in Times Square on Broadway between 43th and 44th Streets). Students from the five boroughs, their families, and teachers will join elected and public officials and Fred Rosenberg, TSAC President and Sr. Vice President of Operations at Sherwood Equities, at the press conference.
