Tim Tompkins is the President of the Times Square Alliance and the co-founder, with Douglass Stewart, of Solstice in Times Square. He became a certified yoga instructor through Laughing Lotus’ teacher training, led by Alison Cramer and Keith Borden. He is grateful to them and also to Douglass for his wisdom and patience and for inspiring him to become a teacher in the first place. When not hanging out in the most urban and unnatural place on the planet, Tim also enjoys being on his sailboat Prana, enjoying the beauty of New York harbor.
Tracye Warfield is a 200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) who currently teaches Vinyasa, Power Yoga, and Hatha classes, workshops, online classes, private clients and her "bytracye yoga.yummy food retreats" throughout the U.S. and internationally. After a successful career in organizational development, she decided it was time for a lifestyle change. She has been practicing yoga since 1999 and received her yoga teaching certificate at Yoga Sutra studio in New York City with a focus on studies drawing upon the traditions and principles of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Iyengar yoga. Her classes are fun, powerful, funky, and uplifting. “I want everyone to leave my class with a smile, knowing the universe conspires to support us when we breathe, know our power, let go, and live!” Find out more about Tracye and her schedule at www.bytracye.com.
