Amy Pearce-Hayden formal study of yoga began in 1995 with Iyengar Master, Gabriel Halpern, although she was self-taught since the age of 11. While working toward her BFA at DePaul University’s Conservatory Professional Theatre School, (Chicago), Yoga was included in their curriculum. While attending NYC’s A.M.D.A.’s (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) where she studied theatre, film, and television, again Yoga found it’s way into her studies. In mid 2003, Amy founded TheYogaScape in Carmel, NY where she continues to direct both 200 & 500 hour Yoga Alliance recognized teacher training programs. Her studio in upstate NY celebrates its 10th Anniversary in July 2013. In both 2010 and 2011, TheYogaScape was named “Best Yoga Studio” by Hudson Valley Magazine and its readers. Amy was named “Female Entrepreneur” of the year by “The Professional Women of Putnam Association” in 2011. Pearce-Hayden created, produced, and co-directed the on-line streaming video series “YouYoga” where a variety of all-level practices are available today at www.youyoga.me. Amy has been featured regularly by “Yoga International” Magazine demonstrating in “Asana Solutions” and was honored with the cover, summer 2012. Her first book is due out 2013. Sherida Mullings AKA Sherida Mulrowe was born in Jamaica and raised in New York. She started her love affair with yoga about 14yrs ago through an injury and found such healing that she never looked back. Certified through Yoga Works NY she has interned and studied with power/ flow and restorative master instructors. Sherida credits her influence from an amazing array of instructors on both coasts such as Julie Kleinman. Most of her classes are all levels to advanced combining Flow/Power and meditation she leads a vigorous class through a devotional practice. Focusing on helping students build a strong foundation of practice in order to awaken their own true teacher. Sherida is also a great lover of the human condition and explores that passion through her love of acting. She has been in several episodic shows and most recently is getting the opportunity to not only work in front of the camera, but also behind the scenes in production on several upcoming projects. In everything and all that she does the service is the key.
Tracye Warfield is a 200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) who currently teaches Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Hatha, and Kids Yoga classes, workshops, virtual classes, and private clients throughout Manhattan. After a successful career in organizational development, she decided it was time for a lifestyle change. She has been practicing yoga since 1999 and received her yoga teaching certificate at Yoga Sutra studio in New York City with a focus on studies drawing upon the traditions and principles of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Iyengar yoga.
