No better place to say "I Love You" than Times Square!

No matter what your definition of romance and love might be, there is no denying that you can find what you are looking for in Times Square! From the smooch seen ‘round the world, to the first kiss of the New Year, Times Square is a lovers' destination.

On Valentine's Day, hundreds of people stopped by to tell their life story to the world in the Brides "Love Truck", renewed their vows on the red glass steps and took advantage of one of the steamy offers from Times Square shows, restaurants, hotels and attractions happening all month long.

 

Times Square Renewal of Vows!

On February 14, 2012, over 100 couples joined us in a declaration of love as we celebrates romance, passion, and our sweethearts in a one of a kind tour-de-love. They came from from across the river and around the globe, married 1 year to 50 years, and said I do all over again at the Crossroads of the World. The ceremony took placeon the iconic glass Red Steps in the heart of Times Squareand was broadcast live on the American Eagle Times Square Digital Billboard. it was also streamed live to the world and you can click here to watch the Official Times Square Valentine's Day 2012 Live Webcast!

Participating couples had a chance to win a second honeymoon to Antigua by sharing their story of why they most deserve a second honeymoon. The prize package includes air transportation for two courtesy of American Airlines, and a four-night stay at the luxury resort Carlisle Bay in an Ocean Suite including breakfast and afternoon tea daily. Pictured below are this year's winners, Paul and Deborah Christine.

BIG NYC

For four years, Times Square has hosted an annual heart sculpture to celebrate Valentine’s Day, selecting a special architect to design a romantic public art installation in Times Square for all to enjoy.

Valentines Day Heart Sculpture 2012

This year’s 2012 Times Square Valentine heart sculpture is “BIG ❤ NYC” by BIG Design, which utilizes the flow of people, air and movement to bring its heart to life. More people = more love. A BIG red heart pulses with glowing light in a grove of glass rods. Bigger crowds make the heart burn brighter. Learn more about BIG ❤ NYC.

Take a photo of yourself next to “BIG ❤ NYC”, then post your photo on Think Energy's Facebook page during the month of February and they will donate $1 to the Hope & Heroes Children's Cancer Fund.

Declare Your Love Horizontal

The BRIDES “Declare Your Love” Truck was stationed in the heart of Times Square from noon to 5:30 p.m. on Valentine’s Day. Visitors were encouraged to step inside the Love Truck and share their personal stories and lessons of love, which were streamed live on brides.com/love. The BRIDES “Love Truck” also offered hot chocolate and the chance to win diamond necklaces, earrings, and watches from jcpenney by drawing flowers.
