Times Square Alliance Celebrates Summer with Annual Outdoor Food and Music Festival
(New York, N.Y.) -- Tens of thousands of people are expected to enjoy dishes from the district’s top restaurants and music from the city’s best street performers at Taste of Times Square on Monday, June 3rd from 5-9 p.m. on 46th St. between Broadway and 9th Avenue (including historic Restaurant Row) and the Broadway Plazas (between 45th and 47th Streets). In year’s past, restaurants have offered “tastes” of their most popular and unusual dishes, including tenderloin steak tips, alligator in a blanket, bacon brownies, paella, empanadas, crab cakes, dumplings, fried cheesecake bites, salmon caviar blini, duck lettuce wraps, and BBQ ribs.
Participating restaurants include Bourbon Street Bar & Grille, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Ca Va Brasserie, Carmine’s, Firebird Restaurant, Virgil’s Real Barbecue, Sangria 46, O’Lunney’s Times Square Pub, Ginger’s Restaurant, Le Rivage, The House of Brews, John’s Pizzeria, Junior’s, Toloache, and Barbetta.
The event will feature music from around the world from New York’s best street performers.
Taste of Times Square is organized by the Times Square Alliance. The food and music festival featuring international flavors from the Crossroads of the World has no admission fee. Each “taste” ticket is $1 with most dishes ranging from $1-6.
