Tens of thousands of people are expected to enjoy dishes from more than 50 of the district’s top restaurants and music from the city’s best street performers at Taste of Times Square on  Monday, June 11 from 5-9 p.m. on 46th St. bet Broadway and 9th Ave. (including historic Restaurant Row) and the Broadway Plazas (between 42nd and 47th Sts.) in Times Square.  Media check-in will be at Broadway and 46th Street. Patrons will sample items such as tenderloin steak tips, alligator in a blanket, bacon brownies, paella, empanadas, crab cakes, dumplings, fried cheesecake bites, salmon caviar blini, duck lettuce wraps, and BBQ ribs.

Restaurants include: Firebird Restaurant, Le Rivage, Barbetta Restaurant, Becco, Shula's American Steak House, Ca Va Brasserie, The View Restaurant & Lounge, Mr. Robata, Ruby Foo’s, Little Town NYC, NIOS Restaurant, Virgil's Real Barbecue, Bourbon Street Bar & Grille, Meson Sevilla, and many more.

Highlighted street musicians include: the Drum Cafe -- an interactive African drumming circle, Mariachi Real De Mexico, Moses Josiah playing his musical saw, Ebony Hillbillies performing bluegrass, George Gee and the Jump Jive n’ Wailers Swing Orchestra with free swing lessons from Dance Manhattan Studios, and more.

Taste of Times Square, now in its 19h year, is organized by the Times Square Alliance. The food and music festival featuring international flavors from the Crossroads of the World has no admission fee.  Each “taste” ticket is $1 with most dishes ranging from $2-$6.
