Global Citizen Pop-Up Shop at Times Square
Cotton On Foundation + Global Citizen pop-up shop at Free & the Brave, is a collaboration between Cotton On Foundation and the Global Poverty Project to draw fashion industry support for the mission to end extreme poverty. Timed to open in advance of the Global Citizen Festival, a free ticketed concert taking place in Central Park on September 28, with performances by Stevie Wonder, Kings of Leon, Alicia Keys and John Mayer, the store will offer shoppers Cotton On’s latest line, including limited edition Global Citizen T-Shirts designed by celebrity supporters of the cause. Shoppers will also have the opportunity to learn about the issues surrounding extreme poverty, and a chance to win tickets to the Global Citizen Festival.
The event will also serve as the launch of the Global Poverty Project’s largest campaign to date, the Zero Poverty 2030 campaign, which aims to activate citizens around the world to call on world leaders to continue the efforts to end extreme poverty by 2030.
