Dance Workshops
Curated by Ailey Extension

Tuesday, July 26, 2pm – 4pm, and Wednesday, July 27, 2pm – 3pm in 2022
Broadway Plaza between 45th and 46th Streets

Alvin Ailey brings its “real classes for real people” to Times Square for a series of free outdoor workshops by Ailey Extension instructors. Fun for all unfolds with participatory, high-spirited dance sessions. In May and June, this ranged from the iconic choreography of Ailey’s Revelations, to masala bhangra and Broadway jazz; July's classes will include energetic mambo and West African dance classes and more. Classes are open to people of all ages and all levels of dance experience.
