The Town Hall is honored to present the fiftieth anniversary of the Philip Glass Ensemble's groundbreaking premiere of "Music in Twelve Parts." Debuted at The Town Hall on May 25th, 1974, "Music in Twelve Parts" is one of Philip Glass's most revered compositions. Clocking in at over four hours, "Music in Twelve Parts" is an immersive live experience of Glass's earliest explorations in repetition. Join The Town Hall and the Philip Glass Ensemble in celebrating half a century of this landmark composition and the continuation of the Hall's relationship with the legendary ensemble. Due to the program's length, there will a one hour dinner intermission at 8pm and one 15 minute break in each half.

The entire set is over four hours long plus three intermissions: two short ones, lasting 15 minutes, and a “dinner intermission” that is 75 minutes long.
