If you’re in Times Square, one of the most secure and dependable to get Broadway tickets is right from the theater’s box office. You’ll avoid high broker markups and can be sure you’re buying tickets from the official source. Most theaters are just steps from Times Square, making this both a convenient and cost-effective method.

DISCOUNT TICKETS FROM TKTS

You can go here to get information on the TKTS booths, which offer same-day discounted tickets to dozens of Broadway and Off Broadway shows. Theatre Development Fund's TKTS booth is located at Father Duffy Square, at the intersection of Broadway & 7th Ave at 47th Street.

The TKTS booth offers discounted tickets to same-day performances for Broadway, Off-Broadway, dance and music events. Availability can change hourly as cooperating theaters supply tickets.

Hours:

For evening performances:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday*, Friday*, Saturday: 3pm - 8pm
  • Tuesday*: 2pm-8pm
  • Sunday: 3pm-7pm

For matinee performances:

  • Wednesday and Saturday: 10am-2pm
  • Sunday: 11am-3pm

* If there is a matinee performance for sale on these days, the booth will open at 10am. Check the electronic boards for show schedules.

SUPPORT CHARITY

Buy Broadway tickets and donate to a cause at the same time.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Care-TixThe Care-Tix program requests premium and house seats for Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, Equity national tours, and more directly from the show’s producers. In general, house seats cost twice the face value, with the extra amount a tax-deductible contribution to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Premium seats cost the face value plus a $150 tax-deductible contribution.
