Jazzcultural

Jazzcultural is a music room and café located at 349 W. 46 th street on “restaurant row” in the heart of Times Square. Jazzcultural is a tip-of-the hat to Barry Harris and his “Jazz Cultural Theater”, which he operated in Chelsea in the 1980’s and 1990’s. The Jazz Cultural Theater was a combination performance space, social hang and school. They dedicate their club to the spirit of Barry and his legacy. They are dedicated to jazz music and the jazz community. Their mission is to enrich the artistic culture of New York City and offer a comfortable and affordable space to make that happen. Jazzcultural has an informal café/bar but also has a 90 seat, state-of-the-art performance studio to present concerts of world-class jazz artists. The Jazzcultural café/bar opens at 12 noon and there is no music charge to enter until concert sets begin in the Jazzcultural Studio. Concerts are at 7PM, 9PM and a 10:30PM “late show”. At 6PM there is an imposed $25 per person music charge in the café/bar area. All Studio seats are $40 per set. These seats can be purchased in advance on their website.
