Times Square Arts is pleased to announce that on Thursday, April 2, 2026, one of New York’s busiest and most iconic crossings will once again host Black Trans Femmes in the Arts for the fourth annual Trans Day of Visibility showcase. Hosted by Kimberly Jones and Milan Garçon, the suite of programs—including DJ sets and performances—puts trans visibility into action and celebrates the lives and contributions of trans people at the crossroads of the world.
Black Trans Femmes in the Arts (BTFA) is a community-focused arts nonprofit that creates spaces for the production and preservation of Black trans art and culture, providing Black trans femme artists with the resources and support necessary to thrive and create without limitations.
Trans Day of Visibility (TDOV), taking place across the globe annually on March 31, celebrates the joy and resilience of trans and non-binary people everywhere by elevating voices and experiences from these communities. Every year, BTFA hosts events and exhibitions across New York City to celebrate TDOV and, for the past four years, has curated a slate of programs and performances in partnership with Times Square Arts.
The fourth annual Times Square TDOV showcase is hosted by Kimberly Jones and Milan Garçon and includes a DJ set by Lita Da Doll and performances by The Masterz at Work, Iconick, Miss Mojo, and Julie J.
Further programming details will be announced soon.
Your wishes will be added to the confetti that flutters down in the heart of Times Square on New Year's Eve! Each year, people from around the planet include their wishes for the new year on pieces of official Times Square New Year's Eve confetti, either digitally or in person.
