The not-for-profit organization, dedicated to entertaining, enriching, and expanding a global community for jazz through performance, education, and advocacy, will take over Times Square to bring New York City’s jazz scene to Broadway. JALC will infuse the area with good vibrations, featuring some of the most talented emerging artists amidst the hustle and bustle of Times Square.
Born in New York, four time Grammy Award Winner, Percussionist Maestro, Tony Rosa's long standing career began at the age of eight in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park at the "Rumbas."
In his Lincoln Center appearances, he accompanied some of the great Jazz artists such as Jon Faddis, Joe Lovano, Charnett Moffet, and Lew Soloff. His never ending search for harmony and musical creativity would ultimately lead him to record and perform his musical expressions with artists from Latin music to R&B to Rap to Rock.
Your wishes will be added to the confetti that flutters down in the heart of Times Square on New Year's Eve! Each year, people from around the planet include their wishes for the new year on pieces of official Times Square New Year's Eve confetti, either digitally or in person.
