TSQ LIVE is turning up the heat with the Summer Friday concert series in Times Square this season. From pop-up shows with top charting artists, to the trendiest up-and-coming artists hitting the airwaves, this series aims to showcase a wide range of talent across all genres with a strong focus on showcasing independent artists of the New York City music scene. Musicians from New York City and beyond will present free concerts, many of whom will be celebrating the debut of new songs or an upcoming summer album release.
Three adolescent friends grew up to form Rock ‘N Roll band Sunfade. Living in NYC, the band combines that dark indie feeling with experimental ambience to deliver melodic and thought provoking songs.
“CD-R” and “Dead Center”, the band’s first 2 LP’s, are a mixture of everything the members grew up loving. 2000’s garage rock comes straight at the listener while synth fusion and post-rock accompany closeby to make up a more unique sound. Nostalgic, futuristic and timeless all at once. With a focus on live shows and no frills releases, Sunfade is all about feeling.
