TSQ LIVE Announces PRIDE in Times Square Lineup

WHO:  

Times Square Alliance; House of Xtravaganza, founded in1982 as the first Latinx Ballroom House and among the first to bring Ballroom culture downtown during the late 1980s; NYC pop band Strange Neighbors; celebrated DJs; and other special guests.  

WHAT:  

The Times Square Alliance announces the lineup for TSQ LIVE’s Pride in Times Square series, featuring a wide array of LGBTQIA+ performers on the TSQ LIVE stage on the Broadway pedestrian plaza of Times Square between 45th and 46th streets.This continues the Alliance’s commitment to celebrating Pride in Times Square in the days leading up New York City’s annual Pride March. Upcoming events will take place from Wednesday, June 24 to Saturday, June 27, 2026.  

This week, pride celebrations continue with a ballroom event in partnership with the House of Xtravaganza on Wednesday, June 24 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for the “Love is Imagination Pride Mini Ball,” offering a first look at XTRAVAGANZA, a new original musical inspired by the legendary House and Ballroom pioneers. Tickets officially go on sale beginning June 24, 2026, for the world premiere engagement of XTRAVAGANZA at Baltimore Center Stage, where the musical will open in May 2027.

On Friday, June 26 at 6:00 pm, TSQ LIVE’s Summer Friday Concert will feature Strange Neighbors, a power pop outfit from New York City. Their music combines influences from all corners of pop music, crafting hook-filled songs that are bound to get stuck in your head. The band draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists and have been described as a Queer mix of My Chemical Romance, The Beatles, and IRS-era R.E.M.

In partnership with PRYSM Talent Management, TSQ LIVE’s Pride weekend will culminate on Saturday, June 27 at 3:00 pm with the TSQ LIVE PRIDE Finale Party featuring DJ Sets and Drag Performances that showcase the incredible talent of NYC LGBTQIA+ nightlife, including Jacklynn Hyde with The Dickens (783 8th Avenue); Venus Mystique with Hardware (697 10th Avenue); Reese Havoc & Hanukah Lewinsky with VERS (714 9th Avenue); Jasmine Rice LaBeija with Rise (849 9th Avenue); Mo'Riah with Boxers (735 9th Avenue); Marti G Cummings with Red Eye (355 West 41st Street), and more! Plus,a surprise headliner will perform at 5:30 pm. 

TSQ LIVE is one of New York’s largest free outdoor event series which serves hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers and visitors alike every summer. Featuring an eclectic array of performances and workshops, the program reflects the diversity,creativity, and talent that defines New York City, while bringing audiences from all walks of life together. The series highlights both established institutions and emerging talents by turning over Times Square as a platform to showcase their work and reach a cross-section of the district's hundreds of thousands of daily visitors.
