TSQ LIVE DJ Sets: Zak Downtown x Five Eleven

Every Tuesday, TSQ LIVE presents an eclectic assortment of music from some of the city's most popular nightclubs, collectives, and DJs.

Born and raised in Lower Manhattan, producer, singer, and DJ Zak Downtown draws inspiration from New York City’s cultural melting pot to create a sound entirely his own. His melodic hooks and clever songwriting have helped him amass more than 50 million streams independently, while his crossover appeal has led him to share stages with Diplo, The Chainsmokers, Future, Lupe Fiasco, and many more. With the launch of 212 Records in 2026, Zak Downtown enters his next chapter: helping develop other artists while continuing to release original music of his own.

Five Eleven is a producer‑DJ duo made up of longtime best friends Emmie Nielsen and Cho Seward. Originally from opposite coasts, the two first crossed paths nine years ago while living together in a model apartment in New York City. Their sound blends iconic throwbacks with under‑the‑radar gems, moving seamlessly through tech, Latin, and disco house.

In less than two years, Five Eleven has performed more than 150 shows, including opening sets for FISHER, MK, Kaskade, and Afrojack. The duo has also provided the soundtrack for major brands and events including Adidas, Formula 1, Christian Louboutin, Tommy Hilfiger, Maybelline, and more.
