It's holiday season in New York, and that means the annual New Years Eve celebration is here in Times Square!  While the world watches, millions of people will come together to celebrate the beginning of 2022, and we hear how it all happens.  Joe Costarella (Sanitation), Angel Cruz (Public Safety), and Herbert Murray(Operations) join Tom and Dave to talk about how their individual roles come together to form the best New Years Eve celebration in the world.  Hear behind the scenes details and never before hear stories and get a first look at this year's New Years hat.

The Times Square Alliance has partnered with some amazing organizations to create the new pilot program Community First. Lauren A. Curatolo joins the show to talk about all the amazing this the program is doing for New York's most vulnerable citizens.

Episode 5: October 2021

Broadway is back and so is TKTS. Right in heart of the Crossroads of the World, people can buy discounted tickets to the best shows in the city. Tory Bailey, Executive Director of the Theater Development Fund, joins Tom and Dave to talk about the booth, who it helps, and why TKTS has its own little international community.

Tom and Dave also recap some of the amazing events that happened in Times Square last month as well as new post-pandemic records for visitors.

There's something different about Times Square this month.  Is it that Broadway is officially back or is it the 110 foot Ferris Wheel?  Tom and Dave cover both along with much more on September's episode of Times Square Today.

Episode 3:  August 2021

David and Times Square Alliance President Tom Harris talk about all the new events and film shoot in Times Square that are starting to populate the Square.  They also welcome Jean Cooney, Director of Times Square Arts to discuss all the amazing public art in the area including How I Keep Looking Up (which has just come down this month after a great run), Midnight Moment and how she works with the screen holders of Times Square to make that happen, as well as the STAR initiative which places art works in empty storefronts and screens.

David and Times Square Alliance President Tom Harris bring a jam packed episode. First, they speak to Jennifer Asquino of Encore Community Services about how they're helping local seniors and about partnering with the Times Square Alliance to bring How I Keep Looking Up to the plazas. Then Joe Papa joins the show to recap Solstice In Times Square. Finally, we look forward to some of the great weekly events happening throughout the summer in heart of Manhattan.
